As far as owning the 80's, MJ did own them. McCartney just tried to cash in on MJ's commercial success by doing a couple songs with him.

There was no need to rip him off, there just wasn't any comparison.

Paul should have stuck to doing what he did best and that was: 1.) make rock music..not pop, rock...and 2.) finding one-legged whores to bed who would take him for every cent.
